Lesson: Google Slides deck: History of Mary Blair, her life, her art work.
Art project: create a Mary Blair inspired cityscape buildings with lots of vibrant colors and shapes. Use AutoDesk Sketchbook (shape and paint bucket tools) or Photoshop or Illustrator or ProCreate.
Grading:
• Time, care, effort put into the assignment (assignment doesn't seem rushed)
• Individual digital art skill development
• Creativity: student added their own creative style to the assignment
• Cityscape (skyscrapers / buildings)) with some sort of background (sky, sunset)
• Variety of shapes and patterns
• Variety of bright colors
• Student used an art app of their choice to complete the assignment (AutoDesk Sketchbook, ProCreate, Tayasui Sketches School, PhotoPea, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fresco)
