About me:
I am your art teacher, Mrs. Domingues. My first name is Amanda, but I like to go by Mandy.  My husband, Jerick, is a superintendent for a helicopter fire crew in Santa Ynez. My daughter, Lillian, is in 12th grade at Santa Ynez High School. My son, James, is in 7th grade at Solvang School. This is my 5th year teaching art with Santa Barbara School District. I taught art and photography at la Cumbre Jr High.  Over the summer, my family and I took a road trip to Yellowstone. We went to San Luis Obispo a lot. We went to Haskell's beach, A LOT! I danced ballet when I was younger. My favorite part that I danced was a crazy goofy step-sister in Cinderella Ballet. My favorite memory in dance was taking a Master Class at Disneyland with the Disneyland choreographer. The dance instructor pulled me aside and told me I should audition for them. Sadly, I wasn't brave enough to do that. I wish I did!! One of my favorite books is The Outsiders. I am in the middle of reading the Hunger Games prequel book, The Ballad Of Songbirds And Snakes. It's pretty good so far. My kids and I like to binge watch The Office. I love all types of food...as long a it's gluten free and dairy free and nut free.  I have 3 cats: Roxy, Pixie (we call her Boom-Boom) and Mikey. They are crazy. 
So that's a little summary about me, your teacher. I tend to write A LOT.  I would rather write than talk, I'm very shy.  I look forward to being your art teacher! :)

Soy su profesora de arte, Sra. Domingues. Mi primer nombre es Amanda, pero me gusta que me llamen Mandy. Mi esposo, Jerick, es superintendente de un equipo de bomberos de helicópteros en Santa Ynez. Mi hija, Lillian, está en el grado 12 en la escuela secundaria Santa Ynez. Mi hijo, James, está en séptimo grado en la Escuela Solvang. Este es mi quinto año enseñando arte con el Distrito Escolar de Santa Bárbara. Enseñé arte y fotografía en la Cumbre Jr High. Durante el verano, mi familia y yo hicimos un viaje por carretera a Yellowstone. Íbamos mucho a San Luis Obispo. Fuimos a la playa de Haskell, ¡MUCHO! Bailé ballet cuando era más joven. Uno de mis libros favoritos es The Outsiders. Estoy leyendo la precuela de Los juegos del hambre, La balada de pájaros cantores y serpientes. Es bastante bueno hasta ahora. A mis hijos y a mí nos gusta ver The Office en exceso. Me encantan todos los tipos de alimentos... siempre que no contengan gluten, lácteos ni frutos secos. Tengo 3 gatos: Roxy, Pixie (la llamamos Boom-Boom) y Mikey. Ellos están locos.
Así que ese es un pequeño resumen sobre mí, su maestro. Tiendo a escribir MUCHO. Prefiero escribir que hablar, soy muy tímido. ¡Espero ser tu profesor de arte! :)
