Using this example image: • Recreate the still-life set up of the block shapes in Photoshop. • Apply the techniques we learned in class: • Use the layers palette • Use the brush tool: soft round brush, hard round brush, change the opacity when needed • Use the gradient tool (select two paint colors: a light color and a dark color for shading help) • Use the selection tool to help you make shapes (then use the paint bucket to add color) • Open the image in Photoshop in one layer (change the opacity of the image in order to draw the shapes and see what you are drawing). • Observe the shadows, highlights, cast shadows (use the Gaussian blue for the cast shadows) • Add a horizon line to separate the background and the table top •Take a screenshot image of your work and upload the image to NEO/Canvas for grading. • Worth 25 points
